Phillip Pullman states the following about his “fictional” books for children, “I don't think I'm writing fantasy. I think I'm writing realism. My books are psychologically real.” But what does he really write about? As he has admitted, “My books are about killing God” and “I'm trying to undermine the basis of Christian belief.”

Just a technicality, but why would any self respecting government let the Chinese decide on how to "officially" translate the name of their head of state?

Sounds like the Chinese are the ones trying to change the official transliteration, which naturally is set by the United States, and not vice- versa.

Who decides how to translate their leader's name into English, the PRC government or the United States?

I don’t buy a word of this, there is no pictures, no proof, anyone can say Avril is dating someone, but there is no reliable evidence that Avril has dated anyone mentioned in this article. Prove to me Avril has moved on with some tangible evidence. Rumors are just that, they are rumors without out proof.
